Welcome to Turning Point Tahoe

Turning Point Tahoe creates outdoor recreation and environmental education for people with disabilities in the Truckee / Tahoe area. Our activities include camping, fishing, boating, hiking and cross country skiing.

Our mission is to raise the standard of living and change the consciousness of what is possible for persons with disabilities. We do this by networking with existing resources, groups and programs to connect people to information, equipment, activities and programs.

Our belief is that self confidence is instilled through inspirational examples that emphasize outdoor adventures.

Enjoy fun & snowmobiling Feb. 2011, while helping TPT raise funds & awareness!

Turning Point Tahoe and Eagle Ridge will have a day of snowmobiling, fun and friendship on the Jackson Meadows Trail at Tahoe National Forest to help raise much needed funds for TPT's all inclusive activities. This area's trail system allows individuals of all abilities to participate in outdoor recreation.

At the event, we'll have lots of food and festivities, including music, bar-b-que and prizes for participants. You can form a team, enter as an individual or come and volunteer for this inaugural event.
